Improving forex reserve ratios point to lower volatility for rupee
The ratio of volatile capital flows to reserves has declined to 72.7% at the end of December 2022 from 75.5% at the end of September, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Monday in its half-yearly report on management of foreign exchange reserves. The RBI’s reserves were at $562.85 billion as on December 30.
