The Delhi High Court has agreed to hear a PIL on August 7 that seeks an order to investigate and prosecute Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The allegation made by plaintiff Surjit Singh Yadav is that the two politicians made “false statements” regarding the waiving of loans to several industrialists. Yadav claims that this assertion damaged the image of the centre and the nation itself.
