Gillette India reported a 48.17% increase in profit after tax to INR102.70cr ($13.8m) for Q3 ending 30 June 2023, boosted by one-time tax gains and a shift towards premium products. The firm’s revenue for the period was up 9.27% to INR619.07cr. The total income in the March quarter was up 11% to INR630.84cr due to strong brand fundamentals, an improved retail execution technique, and innovation. The revenue for the grooming segment was INR491.35cr, up 10%, and oral care rose by 6.54% to INR127.72cr.
