Karnataka New Govt Day 1: Siddaramaiah issues orders to implement poll guarantees
The first meeting of the Cabinet, which met soon after Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar took oath as CM and Deputy CM and eight others as ministers, decided to go ahead with the implementation of the guarantees. The decision would not translate into automatic implementation as the government has bought time for preparing the modalities and laying down the guidelines to implement them.
