Shaky start to opposition unity shows contradictions of a common front
After Nitish met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former party chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday, the Congress announced that leaders of several opposition parties would be meeting in a day or two. Of late, the Bihar CM has been leading the charge to gather non-BJP parties. His efforts gained momentum after the recent poll victory of the Congress in Karnataka.
