Karnataka cabinet expanded; Byregowda, HK Patil among 24 MLAs sworn in as ministers
The cabinet in Karnataka, headed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, has been expanded with the swearing in of new ministers. Among them are N. Rajanna, Shivanand Patil, HK Patil, Krishna Byregowda and Dinesh Gundu Rao. Earlier it was announced that 24 Congress legislators would be made ministers, and with this expansion the cabinet’s full strength will be 34.
