New Parliament Building: When PM Modi offered what he did at Ram Lalla.. Sashtang Pranam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed ‘sashtang pranam’ in front of the ‘Sengol’ during the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. In 2020, Modi had bowed down in front of the Ram Lalla idol in the Ram Temple premises. In 2014 too, as he stepped into the Parliament for the first time after storming the BJP into power, PM Modi bent down with his forehead touching the stairs, to register his high respect for the “temple of democracy.”
