Though the meeting showcased the duo’s ‘coming together’, it is learnt that no commitment was made either about the state government acting on his demands or of Pilot holding back his resolve. Many feel that the first test of ‘truce’, therefore, would be whether the Gehlot regime will act on Pilot’s demands, and if not, can Pilot sit quiet given his credibility is attached to his public promise of an agitation. And, if he walks his agitation talk, will that amount to violation of the ‘truce’?
