Jagran Prakashan Q4 Results: Net profit falls 56% to Rs 23 crore

Publisher of Hindi daily Dainik Jagran, Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL), has announced its consolidated net profit for Q4 FY23 was INR 23.27 crore, a YoY decline of 55.86%. JPL’s revenue from operations increased 8.19% to INR 459.38 crore, while expenses surged 28.85% to INR 486.92 crore. Total income for the quarter was INR 512.25 crore, up 16.13%. For FY23, JPL’s net profit was down 9.26% at INR 196.78 crore, while consolidated revenue from operations rose 14.86% to INR 1,856.17 crore.
