People of India are going to defeat BJP: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has vowed to “decimate” the BJP in upcoming Indian state polls. After success in the Karnataka election, Gandhi addressed a community rally in New York, stating that the ideology of the BJP was to be defeated, not just the party itself, and said this had become clear in polls. Gandhi said the BJP used its connections with the media and government, and had excessive funds, yet the Congress party “decimated them”.
