Excise policy case: Delhi HC to pass order on Manish Sisodia’s interim bail on June 5

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s interim bail plea citing medical grounds for his wife’s health is due to be decided by the Delhi High Court on Monday. The court sought a new medical report from the hospital where Sisodia’s wife is being treated and reserved judgment. Sisodia previously moved for interim bail on the grounds of his wife’s illness, seeking six weeks of bail, but was denied. Separately, he was denied bail in a corruption case last month alleging corruption in the implementation of the previous liquor policy in Delhi.
