Shivakumar pulls up BBMP, calls for cross party unity to resolve Bengaluru issues
Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, has called for an improvement in the country's ongoing infrastructure projects and the resolution of issues in a meeting with the city's MLAs and MLCs. The deputy CM urged the official to work collaboratively in order to provide adequate civic amenities, putting personal politics aside for the city's benefit. In previous years, Bengaluru has experienced broken roads and flooded streets in the run-up to the monsoon, leading to doubts over the claims of preparation by the BBMP.
