Sensex snaps 4-day winning run, drops 294 points as RBI rate pause fails to bolster bulls

The 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex ended 294 points or 0.47% lower to settle at 62,848. The broader NSE Nifty dropped 92 points or 0.49% to end at 18,634.
