Ajit Pawar not upset, proposed Sule’s name for Working President: Sharad Pawar

Sharad Pawar, the leader of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), dismissed concerns that his daughter’s appointment as working president of the party has upset his nephew, Ajit Pawar. Pawar claimed the suggestion to appoint his daughter was made by Ajit Pawar himself. Pawar announced three-term Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule and Praful Patel as NCP’s new working presidents. Pawar rejected allegations of nepotism and said the proposal was under discussion within the party for a month.
