Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s ‘game changer’ scheme to empower women to be unveiled today

As per the state government sources, 1.25 crore women will receive their first installment of ‘1,000 at a click of a button on Saturday. The money will be transferred to their account on the 10th of every month. There are 1.89 crore women in the state falling in the age bracket, of which 1.25 crore are eligible to avail the scheme. This is one of the biggest poll planks by the Chouhan government before the upcoming assembly elections. The BJP feels it would be a game changer in the upcoming state elections.
