Congress raises questions on reports of BJP leaders ‘seeking help’ of Kuki militants in Manipur polls

The Congress has raised concerns about alleged links between BJP leaders and “Kuki militants” during the Manipur election. Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah approved of BJP leaders Himanta Biswa Sarma and Ram Madhav seeking help from these militants. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh called the reports “explosive” and accused the BJP of playing divisive politics in Manipur.
