Post merger share count will be ~754 Cr.
Today’s combined MktCap is 1,390,000 Cr. [Bank @ ~900,000 Cr. and Hdfc @ ~490,000 Cr.]
Hence, expected per share price of the merged entity shall be: ~1840 whereas prevailing per share price of the bank ~1600.
My thinking is definitely missing a lesson or two!!!
