Re-examining the Bitcoin scam case, says Karnataka Home Minister

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has announced the re-examination of a multi-crore Bitcoin scam case that occurred during the BJP regime in 2021. The Congress claimed that the previous government attempted to cover up the case. The prime suspect, Srikrishna Ramesh, was accused of hacking the state government’s e-procurement site and siphoning over Rs 11.5 crore, as well as involvement in cryptocurrency theft, drug peddling and cyber fraud.
