Thanks for sharing you experience, I have tried similar stuff during end of 2019, when I shifted money from most of my large cap stocks to small cap and the experiment which felt like a huge failure during march 2020 turned out to be a big bang success post recovery (mostly luck, and little bit of study Investing during crash – 3 : Finding Market Leaders helped there).
But then studying previous cycles of stock market (2004,2009,2013,2017,2020), it felt the right choice would be to get exposure in large caps using Mutual funds and use small/micro cap for direct investment.
Spending time on researching large caps doesn’t give you much leeway in terms of multibagger returns.
It might sound good in hindsight, but that’s the point, history rhymes, shouldn’t we take its advantage?
