Congress, AAP, Shiv Sena (UBT) criticise ‘Adipurush’ for offending sentiments, ‘controversial’ portrayal of Lord Hanuman

Congress’s Supriya Shrinate called the language crass and said it had hurt people’s sentiments. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accused the film of tarnishing Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman’s image. Criticism has also come from Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh, who said the film was a “grave insult” to Hindu society.
