Jagadish Shettar among 3 Congress nominees in race for Karnataka’s legislative council
The party was mulling over assigning a position to the Lingayat leader who had defected to the party from the BJP. He lost the election from the Hubli-Dharwad Central to BJP’s Mahesh Tenginakai by over 33,000 votes.
