The Delhi BJP has questioned how Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal acquired an official residence bigger than he is eligible for. Delhi’s CM can only reside in a Type VII dwelling due to the city’s status as a Union Territory, yet Kejriwal’s home is reportedly significantly larger. The BJP accused the Public Works Department (PWD) of unauthorised renovations and said that the construction of a new bungalow cost Rs 33.2 crore, up from an initial estimate of Rs 7.62 crore.
