BRS will never compromise on issue of core welfare principles for country: K T Rama Rao

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president, K T Rama Rao, said that their fight against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections should focus on “principal issues” for the country. The BRS is willing to contest the election alone, aiming to win a sizeable number of seats. Rao emphasised that political parties should align on core welfare principles, such as creating employment, farmer wealth and irrigation, rather than “bakwas” around religion.
