PM’s speech on UCC shows BJP’s worry over opposition unity: Nitish aide
A senior JD(U) minister, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, has claimed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was aiming for communal polarisation by bringing up UCC. Speaking at a meeting in Bhopal, Modi had publicly discussed the issue. Leaders of over a dozen different parties had attended the event hosted by Nitish Kumar, and the event was seen as a further opportunity to build momentum.
