Assam govt prescribes vegetarian menu in chief minister’s programme in different districts
The prescriptions stipulate, “If the organizer intends to light a lamp (Diya/Chaki), it may be lightened before the starting of the function which may continue to lit throughout the meeting, Felicitation of CM with Gamocha “(scarf) / flower bouquet must be avoided strictly and no gift item to be offered to the CM”.
