Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that everyone is free to visit the state ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Lakhisarai. Shah’s visit to Bihar is the first by any top BJP leader since the opposition parties’ meeting in June. Kumar evaded questions regarding the Modi government’s push for the Uniform Civil Code.
