BJP high command summons Yediyurappa to Delhi amid delay in electing LoP, Karnataka party chief

Senior BJP leader B S Yediyurappa has been summoned to New Delhi by the party’s top leadership to discuss the appointment of the Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He stated that he will try to return quickly as a massive protest is planned for the day after tomorrow. The BJP is yet to finalize its leader of the opposition, with several frontrunners in the state. The Congress has mocked the BJP’s delay in making a decision.
