NCP numbers game: Amid claims of majority support by Ajit Pawar camp, Awhad says wait for Sharad Pawar’s move

Jitendra Awhad, the newly-appointed Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly, has stated that the number of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLAs supporting Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will become clear when party supremo Sharad Pawar starts contacting legislators. Awhad also mentioned that the families of some MLAs have expressed their opposition to the recent developments.
