Trinamool leader Jiarul Mollah, a resident of South 24 Parganas’ Basanti, had been receiving threats for quite some time, family members told mediapersons. “There was a clash between the Trinamool and Youth Trinamool of the same party and he had complained to the local police about the threats,” Mollah’s daughter said.
