51 NCP MLAs wanted Sharad Pawar to explore possibility of joining Maha govt in 2022: Praful Patel

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel has claimed that 51 out of the 53 party MLAs discussed the possibility of joining hands with the BJP after the collapse of the Maharashtra government last year. Patel, who has switched over to Ajit Pawar’s side, questioned why the NCP could form a government with the Shiv Sena but not with the BJP. He also mentioned that the decision to join the government was taken by the party, not by him or Ajit Pawar individually.
