Maharashtra assembly speaker gives Sena MLAs seven days to reply to disqualification plea

Maharashtra assembly speaker Rahul Narwekar told ET that he sent the notices to both sides – 40 Shiv Sena MLAs, including chief minister Eknath Shinde, and 14 MLAs from Uddhav Thackeray’s group – on Friday. “They have been asked to reply within seven days of receiving the notice,” the Speaker said.
