The India VIX (Volatility) index is down 2.2% to 18.70. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.08% at 10,963, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.38% at 11,393. Out of 1,737 stocks traded on the NSE, 571 declined and 817 advanced today.
