Union ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Narendra Singh Tomar had reached the state a day before. Shah conducted the meeting of the BJP’s core group where, along with the central team, chief minister Shivraj Chouhan, state BJP president VD Sharma and other leaders were present. After the Karnataka election, the BJP has planned to initiate the campaign for MP polls a little early. That’s why the party has appointed the election team in the state four months ahead of the election.
