Monkey vs Advisor
Bull Market
For average returns , you don’t need a stock- advisor in bull markets if you know the basics of the markets !
In a bull market , even a monkey can do equivalent job to an advisor !
In bull market almost all stocks perform – even a monkey can pick them ( alternate is take the list of stocks ,close your eyes and place the finger wherever you like , you might end up with 7/10 success ratio )
Bear Markets
You might need an advisor only in difficult & bear markets – where he/ she would keep your money safe by putting it in good – fundamentals companies . If your advisor is losing money in bear – markets – leave him .
Either find a better advisor or have a monkey .
Because monkey and a bad advisor would do the same thing in a bear market – that is losing money .
