Electoral bond scheme designed to favour ruling party, need transparency: Congress
The Indian National Congress has accused the ruling party of favouring itself through the electoral bond scheme. A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms showed that over 52% of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s political donations between 2016-2017 and 2021-2022 came from electoral bonds, compared to the Rs 1,783.93 crore given to all other national parties.
