Assam-Meghalaya border issue: High-level meeting between officials held
Assam’s Minister for Forest and Environment, Chandra Mohan Patowary, and Meghalaya’s Deputy Chief Minister, Sniawbhalang Dar, held a meeting in Umkiang regarding the border issue between the Cachar and East Jaintia Hills districts of the two states. The meeting aimed to resolve the border dispute.
