The National Democratic Alliance will host a meeting of its partners as the BJP seeks to show support for the ruling party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Attendees of the meeting will reportedly be representatives of all regions and showcase the strength of the NDA after the BJP has worked to win back allies and make new ones, such as Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and the Ajit Pawar-led faction of the NCP. The Congress has criticised the BJP amid the opposition parties’ meeting in Bengaluru to forge unity.
