Rajya Sabha elections: Jaishankar, Derek O’ Brien among 11 leaders set to be elected unopposed
After this round of elections, the ruling BJP will gain one seat in the lower house of Parliament. BJP currently has 93 members in Rajya Sabha. The majority mark in Rajya Sabha is 123. There will be no voting for six seats in West Bengal, three in Gujarat and one seat in Goa on July 24, as no opponent has filed nominations against these candidate.
