Cautious optimism in opposition camp over ‘anti-BJP alliance’
Congress is keen on a larger anti-BJP alliance, but is cautious of regional biggies’ bid to force the party to make maximum ‘sacrifice’. Post-Karnataka, Congress would ideally want a better show in the upcoming state polls to reinforce its position, even as some others are arguing for early decisions by citing the possibility of “early LS polls”.
