Former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy accused the Congress government of introducing an “IAS bonded labour policy” by sending 30 IAS officers to serve its alliance leaders at a meeting in the city. Kumaraswamy criticized the deputation of officials as “doorkeepers” for politicians in violation of the All India Services (Conduct) Rules. The former CM claimed this was a massive injustice to the people of Karnataka and a significant insult to the state.
