any such sudden rise has to be balanced out by some calm. And since most market participants believe that “everything is priced in” any any given time, then prices rising will lead to deep reevaluation which will take time and hence we expect a correction. It might go up again, but we humans are negatively-biased, it helps to be so, so we rather fall from the 1st floor than the 2nd. We can climb back to 2nd from 1st if that turns out to be the right thing to do.
