“Such incident puts country to shame…”: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi calls for discussion on Manipur video in Parliament
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has called for a discussion on the situation in Manipur following the release of a video showing two women being paraded naked in the northeastern state. Several opposition MPs have also given notices demanding discussions on the situation, with Congress’ Manickam Tagore giving an adjournment motion notice on “violence against women and children in the northeastern state”.
