South Indian Bank reported a 75% increase in its net profit for the quarter ending 30th June due to higher interest income. The bank’s net profit rose to INR 202.35 crore compared to INR 115.35 crore during the corresponding period the previous year. The net interest income increased by 34% to INR 807.77 crore from INR 603.38 crore last year.
