Investors who chose Greenply over Greenpanel: What was/is your reason?
Most of the parameters seem to support Greenpanel. Even in the plywood business (which is supposed to Greenply’s strength), the Average Realisation (₹/Sqm) for GPly has been lower than GPanel (250ish v/s over 260ish).
Have been impressed to see how GPly has been able to complete MDF capex in < 2 years (GPanel takes 2 to 3 years). But other than that, I do not find much quantitative reasons.
