TMC to protest in Delhi on October 2 to demand release of Bengal funds: Abhishek Banerjee

Trinamool Congress will stage a protest rally in Delhi on 2 October over the issue of unpaid central dues to the West Bengal government, said TMC national general secretary and Lok Sabha member Abhishek Banerjee. The rally will be held on the occasion of the anniversary of Gandhi Jayanti. Ahead of the protest, there will be a “peaceful sit-in demonstration” in front of the homes of state BJP leaders. Banerjee also criticised the Union government over the activities of central investigative agencies operating in the state.
