All must make efforts to bring Manipur out of present crisis: FM Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman said Manipur must come out of the current crisis and all efforts should be made to restore peace in the state. The minister commented on the incident of women being disrobed and paraded and said it was a serious and sensitive issue. Sitharaman noted that all communities are suffering in Manipur. She emphasised that the perpetrators must be caught and punished.
