This is the management’s rationale for motor and controllers biz which makes sense.
Anyways these new businesses aren’t taking up a lot of resources or management bandwidth and their core focus remains on the wheels business. Also these products are in their core industry only and with their OEM clientele it’s easier to cross sell.
It’s good that they are doing some innovation/product development on the side and will only scale up if the product is accepted and is profitable in itself.
I treat these as optionalities until they start producing numbers or start taking up major resources that could be utilised otherwise (paying down debt, dividends, capex in core biz etc).
