The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 1.67% to 17.71. A total of 34 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. Out of 1,747 stocks traded on the NSE, 694 declined and 785 advanced today.
