Seems quite interesting. They also command higher margins in exports, maybe since the product mix is different as compared to the domestic mix (more badges on the export side, and not decals or chrome plating).
However, I’m still a little sceptical of the management’s claim of increasing exports to 25%, since I can’t see any strong reason for foreign OEMs to import from India.
I think TFT screens might be a better driver of earnings with higher EV penetration and premiumisation of cars.
