Trinamool Congress plans resolution in Bengal Assembly on Manipur issue

“We will bring a resolution in the state assembly on the Manipur issue in the current session. Along with the entire country, we are deeply anguished by the condition of the women in Manipur. Women and children from the tribal community are being tortured and they are taking refuge in camps. They are citizens of India and those who are torturing them are also citizens of our country. The situation is very unfortunate,” state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay said.
